 Giffoni Hollywood brings to Los Angeles the spirit and enterprise of the original Italian-based Giffoni Film Festival, while also creating a unique and innovative cinematic experience that could only be presented in the heart of Hollywood. Giffoni Hollywood reaches out to a new generation, and the judges and jury will be comprised off three age groupings: 9-11, 12-14 and 15-17 year olds. By sharing Hollywood's magic through the voice of today's leading actors, directors, producers, studio executives, writers, and all other key players involved in the movie-making process, the festival will inspire and unite children of all ages. Giffoni Hollywood will feature films emphasizing stories made by or influenced by today's youth, including: features, shorts and documentaries. The programming and events offer the participants an unprecedented insight into the business and art of filmmaking. Workshops, seminars, demonstrations, tours and conferences will round out the festival and ensure an experience that is uniquely Hollywood! |
